David E. Spaw

DAVID E. SPAW received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Cleveland State University in 1988 and his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from the Cleveland State University in 1991. Mr. Spaw is a member of the Ohio bar and is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Spaw is a member of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.

Mr. Spaw has extensive and comprehensive experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical and electro-mechanical arts. Mr. Spaw has drafted and/or prosecuted patent application in a wide range of technologies, including: consumer appliances; outdoor power products; consumer electronics and consumer communication systems; medical devices, including implantable devices; automobiles and motorcycles; HVAC systems; conveyor and packaging systems; humanoid robots and associated control systems; optical devices; electric motors; precision measuring systems; and semiconductor devices.
