Samir S. Khoury

SAMIR S. KHOURY provides legal services related to all aspects of intellectual property law. His principal practice areas include patent preparation and prosecution, providing legal opinions related to patentability, infringement, and validity, trademark prosecution, and providing legal opinions related to trademark availability and infringement searching. Mr. Khoury also has experience counseling clients on matters related to the licensing of intellectual property, drafting joint research agreements, as well as on matters related to copyright and trade secret protection. Mr. Khoury has worked extensively in mechanical, electrical, and computer matters, representing clients in the automotive, robotic, and semiconductor technological fields, among others.

Mr. Khoury received his Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2001, and his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2006. Mr. Khoury became a member of the Illinois Bar in 2006, the Ohio Bar in 2008, and is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
