MARIA T. IANIRO provides unique value to her clients having formal education in computer information systems and computer science and professional experience as a programmer analyst. Using this background and her legal expertise, Maria brings a perspective to her clients that many cannot. Her practice focuses primarily on domestic and foreign patent prosecution in the computer and software arts, with niche expertise in computer-related technologies within the automotive field. In addition to patent counseling, Maria’s practice covers trademark prosecution and IP related contract drafting. She enjoys working with small businesses, and in particular, supporting the development of minority-owned small businesses and entrepreneurs. Maria earned her J.D. from The University of Akron School of Law and her B.A. in computer information systems/computer science from Kent State University.
Outside of the office, Maria is committed to civic engagement within her community. She is a past Co-Chair of PlayhouseSquare Partners, a 2017 graduate of Cleveland Bridge Builders, and a volunteer with the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland.
