Kevin M. Goodman

KEVIN M. GOODMAN received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors from Youngstown State University in 2000 and his Juris Doctor degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2005. Mr. Goodman is a member of the Ohio Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Mr. Goodman is a member of the Lake County Bar Association and the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association. He serves as Chairman of the Certified Grievance Committee of the Lake County Bar Association and as a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals for the City of University Heights. Mr. Goodman especially enjoys volunteering as a member of the Advisory Board of the Sokolov Honors College at Youngstown State University and as a judge for the Invention Convention at Willoughby-Eastlake Schools.

Mr. Goodman has substantial experience in the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent and trademark applications. Technical patent areas of interest include a variety of mechanical and electrical arts, including aeronautics, consumer goods, LED lighting, plumbing products, vehicles, and outdoor industry products. Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Mr. Goodman was employed by a Fortune 50 company in a variety of manufacturing and technology-based roles.
