Larry B. Donovan

LARRY B. DONOVAN received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University and his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western University of Law. Mr. Donovan focuses on Intellectual Property law with a concentration in assessing and protecting of technological innovation. Mr. Donovan’s experience includes assessment of research and development efforts for isolating and protecting patentable subject matter, trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks. He also assists in enforcement of intellectual property rights as well as defending assertions of infringement.

Mr. Donovan is particularly active with companies in the areas of digital devices, electronics, telecommunications, light emitting diode applications, mechanical devices, wireless communications, mobile device applications, web conferencing, switches and routers, software and energy-saving protocols.

He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association Intellectual Property Section, the American Bar Association Intellectual Property Section, Cleveland Intellectual Property Lawyers Association and is the former chair of the International Committee. Additionally, Larry is a licensed pilot.
