Michael L. Centa

MICHAEL L. CENTA received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2015 and his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2018. Mr. Centa became a member of the Ohio bar in 2018, is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is a member of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association.

Mr. Centa’s practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, and providing legal opinions related to patentability, infringement, and validity. Technical areas of interest and experience include manufacturing, aerospace, and automotive components; medical devices including implants, stents, bandages, and test equipment; control systems; kitchen appliances and household goods; computer accessories; gas turbines; electric motors; cameras; and lawn care equipment.
