Jonathan A. Withrow

JONATHAN A. WITHROW received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1996 and his Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University in 2001. Mr. Withrow is a member of the Ohio bar and is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Mr. Withrow is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Cleveland Intellectual Property Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Mr. Withrow’s practice focuses on helping clients ranging from large corporations to small start-up businesses acquire and exploit intellectual property assets, including trademarks and patents. Mr. Withrow has extensive patent prosecution experience in technology areas including transportation arts, e.g., automobiles, seat restraints, frames, brake systems, HVAC systems, and keyless entry systems; consumer products, e.g., small kitchen appliances, beverage dispensing systems, fragrance dispensers; hydraulic systems including hydraulic motors, hydraulic pumps and hydraulic circuits; software, large appliances and lighting. Mr. Withrow also provides legal opinions involving infringement, validity and patentability.
